Hi,

I think making melee skills usable during movement will contribute positively to the ranged-melee balance. Currently, while melee classes are chasing a kiter(of any class) usage of some very important skills (such as beast chain of assassins) require them to stop which gives the kiter the chance to increase the distance again. Here it should be mentioned that the chaser already has the disadvantage of the hitbox detection problem, a.k.a "target is too far" message received when you are in fact close enough (on your screen). The fact that aerial PvP is a big part of the game increases the importance of this problem since both these issues becomes a greater handicap for the melee when a third dimension is added.

I think we will all agree that making all classes fun to play is a priority goal for the game designers. Unfortunately, balance issues in a game can reduce the fun factor for some classes considerably. In the case of this game, Aion, the inbalance is caused by not inbalanced skills but by game mechanics. So the balancing effort should also target game mechanics. I believe implementation of the above suggestion can be a step in the right direction for increasing the fun factor of PvP for melee classes without making it less fun for ranged classes.
